Gilda E. Pico
Gilda E. Pico is the first homegrown and woman President of the Land Bank of the Philippines. Her strong and able leadership contributes significantly in making LANDBANK the premier financial institution in Philippine countryside and ranked among the top five commercial banks in the country today.
With her extensive experience, she is able to continuously devise market strategies, and institute policies that are vital in ensuring the profitability of LANDBANK’s nationwide operations, while strengthening its focus in providing credit and support programs to its priority sectors.
Ms. Pico is the Vice-Chairperson of the APRACA-CENTRAB which serves primarily as the research and training arm of APRACA. Being at the helm of LANDBANK puts her in a strategic position to infuse innovative ideas that are helpful in pursuing the goals and programs of member institutions, particularly in coming up with relevant training and development courses and curriculums that are responsive to the needs of APRACA as a whole.
It is fitting that APRACA-CENTRAB holds office at the LANDBANK Plaza which allows for easier access and coordination, as LANDBANK also frequently hosts seminars and visits of APRACA-member countries.
